Do not trust the reflection in the mirror. That is you seeing you. Better to find your reflection in the eyes of those who care about you.

Negativity is built into selfishness. It is the foundation of it. Selfishness is the result of feeling of being deprived of something. It is focused on what one doesn’t have. That is the very definition of negativity.

Saying “I need help” is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Once you can admit to it, you open yourself up to receiving it.

Even the definition of yin-yang is sexist and anti-female.

People don’t live in the facts of their lives. They live in the feelings they have about the facts of their lives.

People will always act in the own best self-interest. Even the altruistic serve in a way that feels best to themselves.

Saying something nice to a stranger in passing, “nice shoes” “that color looks great on you” or even stepping aside to let them pass tells them they have been seen. And being seen bursts the bubble of isolation.
