Human history is not earth history. We have encapsulated what we think we know about the earth and called it history. History defines time and is defined by time. Earth is the land before time. And humans can’t conceive of a world without us. It’s what I call “Masters of the Universe” mentality.

The origin of humans is said to have been evolved in Africa. Every illustration shows a primate evolving into a man. Why a man? Wouldn’t it make more scientific sense that it was a woman who emerged first? I’ll admit I am not scientist. Not by any stretch in any field. But just think about it. If only because of course a man comes first because scientist were…men. Woman have carried and given birth to all descendents.

Why Africa? Because when humans emerged there was no Africa. We call it that. And now insist that the first humans were Africans. But were they? If Africa didn’t exist, and it didn’t, how can they be African? They aren’t. We just call them that because we can’t conceive of a world not defined by our language, our standard.

The earth was one big land mass surrounded by water when humans first appeared. Scientists have found the oldest evidence of this event in what we call Ethiopia. And from that they call it a scientific fact that is where the origins of human are found. In this one spot. In a huge land mass. But there is so much of that land mass they have never investigated. Either because it is now physically inaccessible, perhaps under water or ice, or because the governments that control other areas will not allow access.

Its just an incredible assumption that we could only establish life in one spot. Like the other assumptions concerning gender and skin color. Why can’t there be multiple sites of human emergence? If we developed because of all of the elements of life were present in one spot, why wouldn’t there be more places on this one big land mass?

The first Filipinos were believed to be dark skinned people who walked from what we call China over a lang bridge that has since gone underwater. But how do they know they were dark skinned? Is it because the oldest settlement of humans in The Philippines are where now the Negritos abide. “Negritos” by the way, is a Spanish word. Human physical characteristics were established with respect to where those humans settled. Dark skinned people settled where there was little cover from a sun that sat long in the sky. It wouldn’t make sense that if we are descendants of primates, that our skin was dark as we lost fur. The skin under fur in animals is pink because it it kept out of sun.

I am not questioning the method to discover our past. I am doubting the conclusions drawn. It is in the best interest of the status quo that we are taught to believe they hold the truth. But what if a woman did first emerge? Certainly changes the posturing of men. And what if there were a bunch of them from different areas? And we came together and made it possible for human to survive and thrive?
