Basic Truths to Higher Truths

We are all born with a set of basic truths. Not basic life facts, but basic truth. The basic facts of where we were born and when are not connected to the basic truths of who we are. Not even into what family defines self truths. Self truths are who we are within ourselves, who we are in our basic elements. Loud, quiet, gregarious, shy, the characteristics we see in all children. Life events may somewhat alter how those personality traits are shown, but they are always there. Those are our basic truths.

They are the markers we use to choose our living paths. A reserved person isn’t going to be a “joiner.” Just as someone with high energy isn’t going to make choices that lead them to quiet repose. We are who we are. Life may temper our traits, but the truth will always will out.

We find our higher truths in how we see the world and where that view takes us. It leads us to our place in the world. Following a path without guile, life will take you where you are meant to be. Approaching life with honesty, the paths lead to heartfelt enrichment.

It’s in the moments of our lives where we find the greatest truth. A moment that changes your view. A moment the heightens our awareness. A moment that offers comfort and shelter from the rages of the world. The ability to grasp the quiet in your mind and hold it firmly without changing its shape or nature. That’s where these moments live. In the understanding that there are lessons to be learned. And that we are that lesson.

That’s where the basic truth becomes a higher truth.
